During recording and producing, Gil utilizes Pro Tools LE as his DAW, the Digidesign Mbox 2, Focusrite preamps, various guitar pedals, effect boxes and gadgets. His plug-ins range from the IK Multimedia Classic Reverb and Amplitude LE and 2. In addition, Yamaha Keyboards are used for textures, and accents using Digidesign Xpand and Drum Programming using a variety of hits, loops and patches in both audio and MIDI format from a variety of drum and percussion libraries.

Shure SM57s and Sennheiser 421s are used for both guitar, bass and vocal applications in either a DI or miked configuration. Line 6 products are used such as the PODxt. Mixing and monitoring are done via Sennheiser headphones and KRK Monitors.
